ONE THIN LINE
The push an' pull of moon an' man
Hasty decisions never planned
Could judge us all on where we stand
She wandered off to ponder
Just a walk along the bay
There were friendships
And scholarships
And ships upon the bay
And the question yet unanswered was to stay or go away
The moon looked down upon the water on the bay
The moon in the water showed a heavenly display
There was no thought of drowning
It was more a wish to fly
But the water folded over her and took her breath away
Then the evening came before her and simply slipped away
And she hoped that they would find her on the other side some day
