PUSHING PAINT

farmpainting

Kelp that tethers to a small rock.
Might awake one day to quite a shock.

It's not as if they have legs to walk.
Nor do they have a tongue to talk.

But maybe they have wings to fly.
Like an eagle in the sky.

Something had to get them here.
From ocean floor and water clear.

Their message might be not to lie in the sand.
Even if it wasn't planned.

Or take the given opportunity of sight.
To set your wings in mindless flight.

Even if it's just with kites.
It's worth the risk to see the sights.
